Midland Fertility Centre, Ilorin, kwara State, Nigeria, is part of the international network of clinics specializing in fertility treatment. We carry out both the sample treatment like insemination and complex advanced reproductive technologies like In Vitro fertilization (IVF) and intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). In certain cases of azoospermia (where there are no sperm cells in the semen) we are able to insert sperms directly from the testes (PESA) for use in fertility treatments. The aim of assisted conception treatment is to unite the sperm from the man and the egg from the woman to produce embryos in the laboratory. These embryos are then placed in the incubator for 48 hours and the transfered into the uterus to develop into a pregnancy.
