Midland fertility Centre were trained in in various prestigious
institutions in Nigeria and abroad to provide the best patient care for
Humanity. Our comprehensive team includes our medical Director, Dr Jimoh
Abiodun Akanbi Gafar, Laboratory staff, Nursing staff , Technical Staff
and Administrative staff.
Medical Director
Dr JIMOH
ABIODUN AKANBI GAFAR,
M.D.
A native of Kwara State,
Dr Jimoh Abiodun Akanbi Gafar is a seasoned professional in the field of
Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also a prolific academician, he is an
associate professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology,
University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria.
Dr. Jimoh received his
undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Ibadan,
he also holds a Postgraduate degree in Obtetrics and Gynaecology from the
College of Medicine, Ibadan.
Dr. Jimoh has offered his
services in Gabon and Guinea as a consultant in Obstetrics and
Gynaecology. He has written over fifty (50) scientific articles published in reputable
journals (both local and international). He is well travelled especially
for conferences, workshops and seminars.
Dr. Jimoh is a fellow of
the international College of surgeons, and a member of the
international Society of Laparo-Endoscopic Surgeons, Associate fellow of
the Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

Chief Embryologist
Oyewopo
is a professional in the field of Andiogy and Embryology. He was trained
at the International Institute for Research and Training in Reproductive
Health (HRRH), Banglore Assisted Conception Centre, Banglore, India.
(2009).
He attended the University
of Ilorin, where he obtained B.Sc (1999), university of Lagos, M.sc
(2007), Lagos State University College of Medicine PHD (in view) degree
in Human Anatomy
He served at the 3rd armoured
Division medical centre, rukuba barracks, Jos. Our lady of apostle
hospital Jos, and worked at the department of anatomy, ladoke Akintola University of
Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria (2001 – 2008). He is
currently a lecturer in the Department of Anatomy, University of Ilorin,
Nigeria, and research fellow at the Stem Cell Research Laboratory of the
University. An adjunct embryologist at the medical ART centre, Lagos and
a consultant embryologist at the Medical Fertility Center, Ilorin,
Nigeria.
He has carried out several
research works in the Male Reproductive Endocriminology. He is happily
married with children.
He is a native of Igosun in
Kwara State, Nigeria.
Laboratory Staff
OLAWUYI T. SOLOMON
Chief Embryologist
A
native of Kwara State, Nigeria, Olawuyi T. Solomon received his
undergraduate degree in human Anatomy from the University of Ilorin and
he has a masters degree (M.Sc) in Human Anatomy from
the same university. He attended Nordica Fertility centre at Nisa Premier
Hospital, Abuja where he was trained as an Clinical Embryologist.
He worked with the Department of Anatomical-pathology, University of
Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt, Rivers State as a
laboratory Scientist. He also worked in Medical assisted Reproductive
Technology (MART), Lofom Honce, Maryland-Ikeja, Lagos.
He is now the chief Embryologist at Midland Fertility Centre.

MR ASHAOLU JAMES
OLUMIDE
Junior Embryologist
Mr Ashaolu James Olumide is a Junior Embryologist at Midland Fertility
Centre. He attended the University of Ilorin where he obtained both his
undergraduate (Bsc) and post graduate (Msc) degrees in Human Anatomy.
He has worked with the Department of Anatomy at the Nnamdi Azikwe
University. Nnewi, Anambra State as a Prosector. He worked as a research
Assistant at Stem Cell Research Laboratory at the University of Ilorin.
He has carried out several research works in the field of Anatomy and he
was awarded the best postgraduate paper presenter at the 5th
conference of Anatomical Society of Nigeria held at Lasucom, Lagos. He
has attended various local and international seminars and Conferences.

Mrs.
Usman Zainab is from Kwara State. She attended Kwara State College of
Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin . She is a registered Nurse/Midwife and a
Family Planning provider. She joined the organization in
September 2009
MRS. SAHEED AMINAT B.
She
is from Ijagbo Area of Kwara State, She attended College of Health Technology, Offa. She is a trained community Health extension worker. She worked at Saheed
Memorial Hospital, Ikorodu, Lagos State, and Asmau Memorial Hospital, Ba’aboko, Ilorin as a staff Nurse. She is now with wife as a staff Nurse
MRS. ABDULSALAM NAIMAT
Mrs.
Abdulsalam Naimat hails from Oyo State. She is a graduate of college of
Nursing of Midwifery, Kwara State. She is a registered Nurse/Midwife and
a Family Planning Clinical Service provider.

is a Native of Ilorin, Kwara State, She is a Pharmacy Assistant at
Midland Fertility Centre Adewole, Ilorin. She has worked at Eyitayo
Hospital Oja-Iya and Zam-Zam Pharmacy Saw-mail, Ilorin. She is currently
a computer Science undergraduate at Kwara State chapter of the National
Open University of Nigeria

Abdulkareem is a native of Iba in Osun State, Nigeria. She attended
Kwara State College of Nursing, Ilorin where she qualified as a

native of Oyo State in Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc Degree in Political
Science from University of Ilorin, Ilorin (2003). He is currently
pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Political Economy from
the same University.
Oluwafemi has worked with Lead Way Assurance Co. Ltd, Lagos as a Marketing
Executive from March 2006 to December 2006. He is the Head of
Administration / Account department.
